Why network when you could "NOTWORK"!?

Join us for a laid back evening of fun as we mix, mingle, and imbibe all for a GREAT cause. We will have cocktails, small bites, a photo booth, live DJ, silent auction and swag bags to commemorate the evening. Be sure to stay to the end as we will have Celebrity Guest Bartenders announcing raffle prizes through out the night. Volunteers, staff, and supporters of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Texas will be on site to provide information and answer any questions about the importance of and need for mentors in Central Texas!

For more than 100 years, Big Brothers Big Sisters has known that inherent in every child is the ability to succeed and thrive in life. As the nation’s largest donor and volunteer supported mentoring network, Big Brothers Big Sisters makes meaningful, monitored matches between adult volunteers (“Bigs”) and children (“Littles”), ages 6 through 18. We develop positive relationships that have a direct and lasting effect on the lives of young people.

Our Programs Start Something
Here's the proof. Research shows that positive relationships between Littles and their Bigs have a direct and measurable impact on children’s lives.

By participating in our program, Little Brothers and Sisters:
perform better in school
get along better with their families and peers
are 46% less likely to begin using illegal drugs
are 27% less likely to begin using alcohol
are 52% less likely to skip school
